I’m a tattoo artist and leatherworker based in Ireland, working across custom tattooing, handpoking, and bespoke leather art. My journey into tattooing didn’t begin in a studio—it began with craft, tradition, and an obsession with working by hand.
Years ago, my wife introduced me to mosaics, which led me into leaded and stained glass. From that collaboration, Dragon’s Tears and Snake’s Eyes was born—a name inspired by old myths where dragon’s tears become jewels, carrying fragments of soul and life force. Colored glass in sunlight felt like that to me: raw, powerful, and alive. That philosophy still runs through my work today.
Over time, my focus shifted from glass to vegetable-tanned leather, where I developed skills in carving, tooling, embossing, dyeing, painting, and pyrography. Leather became another skin—one that holds marks, stories, and time. That evolution naturally led me to tattooing.
I trained through an apprenticeship in Holland, where Token Tattoo was born. The name reflects extremes, commitment, and the idea that every piece is a token—of time, trust, and shared experience. I later discovered handpoking, a slower, more deliberate tattoo method that values intention over speed. While handpoking has limits on leather, it shaped my approach to tattoo machines and precision work.
In 2016, my family and I moved to Ireland, where I continue to refine my craft. I work extensively on leather and continue developing my tattooing practice on human skin through disciplined study, practice, and respect for the medium.
If you’re looking for custom tattoo work in Ireland, handpoked pieces, or artist-made leatherwork with a darker, myth-driven edge, you’re in the right place. I don’t rush work. I don’t copy designs. Every piece is built with intention.
